VmaxMTH for coal-bed methane gas recovery The VmaxMTH systems are air-cooled (no cooling water required) and are particularly suitable to operate as a vacuum compressor that will not overheat. Maximum differential pressure capability is 18-30 psi depending on system model. These systems have a proven track record in the coal-bed methane gas recovery industry.

  • A true vacuum-compressor that will not overheat while pulling down to 18"Hg on suction and compressing on discharge
  • Easy flow control with customer's manual or automatic bypass valve
  • Heavy duty permanently sealed bearings eliminate periodic greasing
  • Features single face mechanical shaft seals as standard
  • No close internal tolerances. Eliminates lockup potential
  • Discharge temperature below 180F throughout the operating range
  • Extended-life seal-fluid is not used as a lubricant which provides long change interval
  • TEFC motor and NEMA 4 safety devices are standard. Optional explosion proof motor and NEMA 7 safety devices are available
  • Features Dekker's patented, high-efficiency DX-5 gas/oil separator which eliminates oil carry-over concerns
  • Ability to pass moisture without damage to the vacuum-compressor
