Proclean 68D is a specially formulated synthetic fluid capable of dissolving varnish and solubilizing sludge from rotary vane vacuum pumps while they are operating.
This fluid contains oxidation and rust inhibitors and can be used as a short term lubricant (up to 500 hours) in rotary vane vacuum pumps. It is fully compatible with mineral oils and other synthetic lubricants and is highly recommended for use as a flushing fluid when changing over to Dekker's Duratex brand lubricants. Its high flash point and non-toxic nature insrue safety in its applications. It should not be used in painted crankcases due to it's high solvency effect.
